FLEET AND LOGISTICS MANAGER The Fleet and Logistics Manager has overall responsibility for the supervision and coordination of the Heavy trucking fleet, the reporting of all relevant site activities and managing the quality of work performed. This includes maintaining the highest quality trade and field personnel while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure daily client records are completed and time is invoiced regularly Ensure all permitting requirements are anticipated and completed as required Oversight and approval/signoff of purchases Work within overall budget and review of profit margins Complete quotations for internal and external work Complete business case research for potential acquisitions Lead Business Development for Heavy Truck Department Interact with current and development new clientele for department Evaluate current fleet strengths and weaknesses Interact with heavy truck supplier on expectations and quality purchasing QUALIFICATIONS: Have extensive knowledge of the Transportation/Heavy Equipment industry, transportation subcontractors/suppliers, equipment hauling/ maintenance schedules Ability to supervise small, large, and complicated projects effectively and efficiently Capability to identify, troubleshoot, foresee or resolve problems on projects before they become major issues; and handle multiple tasks and work in stressful situations Manage resources to meet &ldquoProgressive&rdquo/ owner and outside client's deadlines Strong communication skills in a professional manner with clients/team Communicate succinctly with Project management teams regarding all issues 10+ years of hands-on experience and 5+ years of leadership experience Class 1 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract Pay will be negotiated based on experience.
