Haisla Nation Council has a job opening for an HCS position: PATIENT TRAVEL CLERK FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION DUTIES: Provide administrative support to the Health Manager, including file maintenance; Preparation of reports, correspondence and proposals; Management of Patient Travel program including all reporting requirements; Charting of patient transportation on Community Electronic Medical Report (cEMR) system; Helping all community members with completion of medical applications; Helping all community members with regards to all non-insured health benefits; Responsible for following all FNHA and HNC Medical Transportation assistance policies; To follow the HNC personnel policy and manual; Other duties as requested by the Health Manager. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 Graduation and Business Technology Certification or equivalent; Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency; Valid First Aid Certificate (willingness to obtain in the first three months); Organizational and office management skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to work in a busy environment (multi-task) and maintain confidentiality; Direct experience working with First Nations; BC Drivers license and own vehicle is an asset; Must be willing and able to pass a criminal record check.
