JOB POSTING Haisla Nation Council has an immediate opening for: Drug & Alcohol Addictions Counsellor Job Summary The Drug and Alcohol Addictions Counsellor (DAAC) would provide direct assistance and support to at-risk Haisla members in the greater Kitimat area (i.e. Kitamaat Village, Town of Kitimat and Terrace) by liaising between them and the community social agencies that offer the relevant services they need. The DAAC works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide prevention, assessment, referral, counselling and follow-up services to individuals and family members affected by mental health and substance use issues.
