As a member of the Nisga'a Treaty, the Village Of Laxgalts'ap is seeking a candidate that can work in a progressive manner to meet the needs of the community's priority projects, and engage in new and exciting asset management program. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: A degree in asset management or certification in capital works and infrastructure; Minimum five years' work-related experience in either field; Proficiency in Microsoft programs, word, excel, databased management; Effective time management skills, efficiencies' in planning and engagement; Knowledge of building codes, local laws, and federal and provincial laws; Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, design, reviews; Understanding of Civil and mechanical engineering programs; Project Management is an asset; Knowledgeable about Nisga'a Final Agreement and Nisga'a Laws (willingness to learn).
