EXTERNAL POSTING RCMP GUARD CASUAL POSITION The Kitimat RCMP has vacancies for independent individuals able to manage flexible work hours to fill the position of Guard at the detachment. This position is casual, on-call, as needed, anytime during the day or night including weekends. Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours, sometimes up to 12 hours. The rate of pay is $25.00 per hour. The Guard position primarily involves maintaining the safety, security and dignity of the persons in the care of the RCMP. We are looking for individuals who have or who are willing to obtain: &bull First Aid and CPR certification &bull RCMP Enhanced Reliability Clearance It is recommended that all interested applicants attend the Kitimat RCMP Detachment, prior to submitting a resume, and ask for Margaret Grant who will provide additional information about the RCMP Enhanced Reliability Clearance process.
